In the Supply Chain team at No7 Beauty Company we delight our customer with excellent availability of products whilst managing a highly efficient operating model to maximise value for the Boots Group. We manage the flow of products from supplier through to customers across the globe and through our insights, data and stewardship we help the organisation to create and execute the plans that deliver financial success. The No7 Beauty Company uses S&OP to provide the governance process that enables us to set targets, to monitor performance against these targets, to identify risks and opportunities and to drive actions that enable us to deliver our plans. S&OP is visible in the form of a series of monthly meetings that review historic / future performance and helps to drive alignment across business functions on the tangible actions required to achieve the plan. The S&OP Manager owns and facilitates the S&OP process for the No7 Beauty Company.

Job Responsibility:

  • Drives / maintains the cadence, efficacy and continuous improvement of the established S&OP governance meetings (Account Review, Regional Demand Consensus, Global Supply Review, Global S&OP / Management Business Review)
  • Draws the focus of the organisation towards the mid-term horizon (4-18 months) so that proactive actions can be taken
  • Ensures that meetings support Leadership in understanding recent performance (KPI's), reviewing and validating future performance expectations, identifying risks and opportunities, and driving course correction activities
  • Prompts corrective action if aims are not being met
  • Supports the efficacy of forums by ensuring the S&OP elements of the E2Open functionality meet user requirements
  • Takes an active role in capturing and documenting routine elements of meeting content
  • Diarises all meetings, drives attendance, owns and facilitates meeting agenda's
  • Captures minutes / actions and issues to stakeholders
  • Escalates and seeks support from Supply Chain Senior Leadership where needed
  • Identifies, seeks approval for and drives opportunities to continuously improve the S&OP process
  • Owns the audit process that measures process efficacy
  • Owns the governance process that identifies and targets actions to appropriate stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Degree level educated (or equivalent) in business, finance, supply chain or related field
  • 10 years experience in Finance, Commercial or SC planning with 5 years+ direct experience of the specific governance aspects of S&OP
  • Excellent facilitator and comfortable in managing meeting efficacy with all levels of the organisation
  • Strong emphasis on process discipline and continuous improvement
  • An understanding of, and experience of using Supply Chain or Finance planning systems
  • Builds strong relationships and networks
  • Solid business acumen and financial understanding (able to link Supply Chain performance to financial benefit)
  • Direct experience of, and involvement in S&OP
  • Knowledge of master data requirements to support S&OP would also be an advantage
  • Experience of leading and coordinating senior level meetings
