Office Angels are super excited to be recruiting on behalf of our client - a global specialist and market leader - for a pivotal Sales Manager role based at their key UK manufacturing facility in Teesside. Job Responsibility:
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both existing and new customers, acting as a key point of contact for technical and commercial enquiries
Provide in-depth technical support to customers and affiliates, responding promptly to enquiries and reviewing requirements to support the quotes team (including drawing reviews, part numbers, and items to quote)
Negotiate commercial terms and approve quotes within agreed delegation levels, including customer-specific pricing reviews
Maintain accurate Salesforce records, including visit reports, quote status, customer contacts, and opportunity tracking
Produce timely customer visit reports and participate in regular sales meetings, weekly activity calls, and performance reviews
Support sales forecasting and contribute towards achievement of the overall sales budget through proactive pipeline management
Prepare and revise drawings for orders where required, with some design work included as part of the role
Conduct monthly visits to consignment stock customers
Review daily reports and communicate relevant updates to key customers as required
Collaborate closely with internal teams including Production, Dispatch, Purchasing, and key suppliers to support quotations, customer feedback, stock control, and open orders
Hold regular discussions with Purchasing to review raw material stock levels and plan future orders
Requirements:
At least 3 years' experience as a Sales Manager or Business Development Manager
A background in technical or industrial sales
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
