Job Description:

Sales Manager for Global Payments Solutions at HSBC India responsible for driving revenue growth by managing a client portfolio and selling comprehensive range of cash and payments management products. The role requires building strong client relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and staying informed on market and regulatory changes.

Job Responsibility:

  • Achieve sales targets
  • Develop strategic sales plans
  • Prepare comprehensive account plans
  • Develop deal pipeline to acquire new clients
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations
  • Manage RFP process
  • Work with Relationship Managers, Product Development, Client Services and Client Implementation teams
  • Gather client feedback for product development
  • Serve as ambassador for HSBC brand
  • Contribute to pricing, review, and negotiation of cash management services
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines and external regulations

Requirements:

  • Proven sales or relationship management experience in corporate or transactional banking environment
  • Focus on global cash management and payments products
  • Experience handling large corporates and their requirements
  • Extensive knowledge of global payments, treasury, liquidity, and cash management products
  • High level of commercial awareness and analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Postgraduate preferably with MBA
  • 10-13 years of post-qualification experience
  • Tertiary degree in relevant discipline (e.g., business, finance)
  • Certificate in International Cash Management or other professional treasury certifications advantageous
  • Proactive, team player, results-oriented, and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree / Graduation
  • Successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training

Nice to have:

  • Certificate in International Cash Management
  • Professional treasury certifications
  • Experience in running complex Request for Proposals (RFP)
