Blis is looking for a driven and energetic Sales Manager to join our Sydney-based team, reporting to the Regional Director, ANZ. This role is ideal for someone with at least three years’ experience in the Sydney advertising market, whether currently working at a media agency or with a media vendor. You will bring strong existing relationships across agency groups and direct clients, alongside a solid understanding of the digital and omnichannel media landscape. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of the advertising market and the role omnichannel solutions play within a modern media mix. A core focus of the role will be managing and growing an existing agency portfolio, driving new revenue, creating winning campaign solutions, and delivering the high level of service for which Blis is known.
Job Responsibility:
Leverage existing and new relationships to build and manage a strong sales pipeline
Target media agencies (independent and hold co’s), working closely with planners, strategists and programmatic teams
Meet minimum expectations for sales meetings, proposals in the market, and industry event attendance
Convert pipeline opportunities and acquire new customers to achieve revenue targets
Create and lead compelling sales presentations for agencies, clients and internal teams
Become an expert in Blis’ USPs, platform capabilities and best practices
Provide insights and strategic guidance to clients to enhance campaign performance
Develop and implement quarterly business plans, with weekly forecasting and pipeline management
Create market-leading solutions and presentations tailored to client objectives
Build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional customer service
Contribute actively to team strategy, sales meetings and wider company initiatives
Requirements:
Strong background in digital media sales and account management (media agency experience advantageous)
Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within the Sydney market
Expert knowledge of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic media, data and product offerings
Experience working across an omnichannel proposition, including pDOOH, CTV, Digital Audio and Display
Clear understanding of the needs of media strategists, planners and buyers
Currently working with or in digital teams at media agencies
Established relationships across Sydney media agency groups
Confident in presenting to stakeholders at all levels
Proven ability to close deals and consistently achieve targets
Strong team-player mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
