Our client is a leading wood panel and surfaces manufacturer seeking a Sales Manager to drive profitable sales growth across major UAE projects. This role focuses on expanding project specification, strengthening relationships with key industry stakeholders, and converting opportunities into sustainable, long-term business. The Sales Manager will own the end-to-end project sales cycle, working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure disciplined lead qualification, follow-up, and conversion. This role requires a commercially astute, field-driven leader with strong project sales experience and the ability to influence specification-led environments.
Job Responsibility:
Own and drive sales growth across major UAE projects including commercial, residential, hospitality, education, healthcare, government, and large fit-out developments
Identify, target, and secure new project opportunities through consultants, architects, designers, project managers, QS, and contractors
Manage the full project sales lifecycle from lead identification and specification through tender support, order conversion, and repeat business
Track and influence project specifications, approvals, mock-ups, samples, and material submittals to ensure product inclusion
Build and maintain a prioritized project pipeline with clear timelines, decision-makers, and win probability
Develop and coordinate project pricing strategies in alignment with company policies to protect margins while remaining competitive
Manage and grow key customer accounts, converting project wins into long-term partnerships
Prepare, submit, and follow up on quotations, tenders, and project proposals, ensuring technical and commercial accuracy
Partner closely with Marketing to expand market visibility through campaigns, consultant engagement, and project-focused initiatives
Ensure marketing-generated leads are tracked, qualified, followed up, and converted with clear ownership
Lead, mentor, and support the sales team, ensuring pipeline discipline and consistent reporting
Coordinate cross-functionally with Operations, Production, Logistics, Finance, and indoor sales teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and issue resolution
Maintain accurate CRM records and prepare weekly pipeline reviews, forecasts, and monthly performance reports
Track collections and follow up on overdue accounts in coordination with Finance
Ensure compliance with pricing, discount, and credit policies and uphold professional and ethical standards
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
Proven sales management experience within project-based B2B environments, preferably in wood products, building materials, carpentries, and joineries
Strong experience in consultant/specification-led and contractor-driven sales
Deep understanding of the UAE projects market and key stakeholder landscape
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance margin protection and competitiveness
Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and influencing skills
Strong pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting capabilities
Experience leading and mentoring sales teams
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined in follow-up
