The Sales Manager will lead the department across all areas of Holiday Sales, providing further support to Conference & Events as needed. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Sales team to ensure an efficient and guest focused team. This role provides motivation for the team to achieve budget and stretch targets throughout the year. You will have the autonomy to creating new and exciting sales initiatives inline with direction form Central Support. You will be managing all recruitment, training, succession planning, and performance monitoring of the team in your responsibility via our Butlin’s Ways of Working, coaching, mentoring and supporting team throughout. Forecasting and phasing sales by working closely with the Central Support team to manage budgets along with understanding and liaising with Central Support to ensure all marketing and point of sale is correct and updated for our guests to see. You will spend time reviewing and analysing guest feedback to present to our team and leaders to enable improved decision making and promote positive ideas to obtain further sales. You will support the Head of Department with team survey data, three commitment delivery and actioning departmental goals to enable to team to perform at their best each day. Project work and compliance to all company standards relating to health, safety and cash handling are critical, carrying out check and completing all relevant documents where required. Typical working hours cover 40 hours per week, 5 days over 7, and forms part of the resort’s Duty Manager roster each month.
