We are currently seeking a Sales Manager to join our Cluster Sales team at Four Seasons Hotels Qatar, representing Four Seasons Hotel Doha and Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl‑Qatar. This position reports directly to the Senior Director of Sales and plays a key role in driving revenue performance across both properties.
Job Responsibility:
Administer the sales program of the hotel
Implements all sales action plans related to the respective market as outlined in the Commercial plan
Actively participates in achieving the departmental goals which contribute to the Hotels budgets
Solicit from assigned local corporate/ long stays / group/ leisure segments for rooms food & beverage business banquet business and all hotel business from sales activities
Write strategic sales action plans for assigned local corporate/ long stays / group/ leisure segments
Closely monitors accounts revenue and business productions
Maximizes up-selling opportunities whenever possible
Attends related work functions and promotional events (i.e. trade shows) and promotes sales for the hotel
Plans sales trips under the direct approval of Director of Sales or Commercial Director to major market areas
Reviews direct competition and conducts regular research
Keep and maintain the hotel data base and Central Information System
Complete weekly Golden S&C sales calls report
Maintain an up-to-date record of all account corporate profiles on Golden S&C
Conduct telemarketing and research from internet and internal resources to qualify accounts
Project a professional image when representing The Hotel
Host corporate familiarization groups hotel tours attend trade shows or sales trips webinars and assist colleagues
Handle any duties as designated by the Director of Sales
Maintain a high level of exposure for the hotel in major market areas through direct sales telephone fax and written communications
Strive to meet / exceed sales target set by the Director of Sales
Carry out the day-to-day sales activities in local corporate/ long stays / group/ leisure segments for rooms
Develop new accounts by mapping specific business and buying tendencies
Conducts site inspections
Maintains close communication with the Meetings and Events team in the group process of their accounts
Attends the pre-event meeting and post-event meeting as required chaired by Meetings and Events team
Cross-sell other sister properties F&B vouchers SPA whenever possible
Liaise with all WSOs to generate and follow up on potential sales leads
Responsible for the training and development of other junior corporate and commercial sales staff
Create and execute direct sales plan specific for new business development
Requirements:
Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in luxury hotels or resorts in a similar role
A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications are preferred
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with guests, employees, and third parties
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and resourceful in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Strong bilingual writing skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
