Job Responsibility
Lead and mentor a high-performing sales team: Provide guidance and strategic direction to drive team success and achieve sales targets
Drive business development: Oversee the full sales cycle, including prospecting, strategic lead generation, and closing deals through a target-based approach
Strategic market engagement: Leverage your deep understanding of the academic market, including specific pain points and procurement processes, to position our solutions effectively
Manage key relationships: Serve as a primary point of contact for professors, deans, procurement officers, and other key decision-makers within the education sector
Navigate regulatory landscapes: Utilize your knowledge of government policies, including UGC, AICTE, and MHRD, to facilitate grant-based software procurement and ensure full compliance
Technical advocacy: Maintain strong familiarity with specialized software, including CAD, CAE, ERP, LMS, and AI/ML-based solutions, to consult with clients on the best technology for their research and operational needs
Requirements
Proven experience in a leadership role, particularly in sales or business development within the education or technology sectors
Strong understanding of academic procurement processes and regulatory frameworks (e.g., UGC, AICTE, MHRD)
Demonstrated success in lead generation and meeting aggressive sales targets
Deep familiarity with educational and research technologies such as CAD, CAE, ERP, LMS, or AI/ML solutions
Excellent networking and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of university and school administration
Education or equivalent experience
