Job Responsibility:
Own and conquer your territory: Take full accountability for all PPG TESLIN® product sales within your assigned region
Hunt new business relentlessly: Identify and pursue untapped sales opportunities with new customers
Maximize growth within existing accounts: Deepen relationships with current customers
Drive winning deals: Lead negotiations with customers to secure agreements
Strategic account planning: Develop and execute targeted plans to accelerate sales growth with high-potential customers
Hit and exceed sales and profit goals: Own your sales and profit plan
Smart pricing strategies: Analyze customer needs and market dynamics to recommend pricing
Build powerful partnerships: Cultivate strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and external decision-makers
Drive organic growth: Utilize commercial excellence tools and personal development resources
Market intelligence & presence: Regularly visit customers to showcase PPG’s product innovations, monitor competitor activity, and represent PPG at industry events
Forecast with precision: Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts
Lead by example: Support and mentor new sales team members
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required
a B.S. in Business, Technical, or a related field is highly preferred
Minimum of 5+ years in dynamic commercial roles with a clear track record of career progression and consistent sales success
Strong background in product sales, technical sales, and commercial negotiations, with a demonstrated ability to close complex deals and drive revenue growth
Prior experience in the relevant industry (secure credentials and identity documents, commercial printing and specialty applications, labels and packaging, breathable membranes) is preferred
A relentless drive to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, combined with the ability to cultivate and expand existing accounts
Ability to develop and execute account plans, negotiate effectively, and recommend pricing strategies that maximize profitability
Skilled at establishing and nurturing strong partnerships with customers and internal teams
