Due to a recent retirement, we are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to manage our region of East Anglia, Northern Home Counties and London. You will have previous experience of selling into high-end specification customers in the construction industry such as architects and MEP consultants. Ideally, you will have sold lighting solutions or electrical components. This territory has huge growth potential for you, paying uncapped commission!
Job Responsibility:
Build relationships with lighting designers, architects, specification customers and electrical installers
Keep abreast with market trends and patterns, competitor analysis and tendering opportunities
Build on an existing territory with massive sales growth potential – providing an applications based sales approach to suit each customer
Manage your existing key customers to maintain and grow sales by meeting their individual expectations
Be able to generate your own new leads with prospective customers to grow your sales territory
Requirements:
Experience selling an electrical product into a high-end specification customer base such as MEP consultants and architects
Ideally, related to lighting products or electrical components/electrical systems
A track record in selling through specification via competitive tenders, from a cradle to grave approach
Led large tender bids
New business and account management experience
Ideally, understand product specification
Nice to have:
Experience with lighting products or electrical components/electrical systems
Understanding of product specification
