From corporate celebrations and milestone birthdays to unforgettable weddings, you’ll turn enquiries into standout events through exceptional attention to detail and strong client relationships. In this role, you’ll actively identify and convert opportunities across Merivale’s diverse portfolio of venues and event spaces. Working alongside a driven team of sales professionals, you’ll balance managing inbound enquiries with proactively generating new business through smart, strategic outreach.
Job Responsibility:
Responding to and converting incoming leads while building strong client relationships to encourage repeat business
Understanding and contributing to key revenue targets by identifying and capitalising on sales opportunities
Developing persuasive approaches and pitches to potential clients to do business with Merivale
Responsible for driving commercial and corporate partnerships between Merivale Events, Stadiums and external stakeholders
Hosting venue tours at the stadiums with clients and potential clients to develop new business
Actively sourcing new leads through networking, industry events, and business development initiatives
Collaborating closely with Event Managers to deliver seamless handovers and exceptional guest experiences
Requirements:
4 + Years experience in Sales, events or operations
An understanding and passion for the hospitality industry
Proven tactical sales skills as well as high attention to detail
Hunger to convert business and excellent communication skills
Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills
