The Area Sales Manager is responsible for managing and driving sales growth within key accounts and distribution channels for Installed base. The role focuses on identifying and nurturing relationships with strategic customers, offering tailored service solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The individual will collaborate with internal departments and implement strategies to grow the service sales portfolio in key accounts and distribution channels.
Job Responsibility:
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key accounts
Understand customer needs and provide tailored service solutions
Identify new business opportunities within key accounts
Coordinate with internal teams to deliver excellent service
Manage and grow the distribution network
Train and support distributors on service offerings
Analyze market trends and competitive landscape
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements
Work closely with Customer Support, Service Operations and Customer Success team
Provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports
Track and report on service sales metrics
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through post-sales support
Address customer complaints or service-related issues promptly
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
10-12 years of experience in sales, service management, or account management
Strong understanding of key account management and distribution business models
Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies and meet targets
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
Ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams effectively
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools
Willingness to travel as needed to meet with key accounts and Channel Partners
