Secure rooms business for Four Seasons Resorts Thailand (including Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Tented Camp Golden Triangle) by actively engaging with B2B and B2C travel partners (under Retail, Discount and Wholesale segments) to maximize revenue/profit potential. The candidate in this position will be based in Bangkok and reports to the Senior Commercial Director.
Job Responsibility:
Secure rooms business for Four Seasons Resorts Thailand (including Chiang Mai, Koh Samui and Tented Camp Golden Triangle) by actively engaging with B2B and B2C travel partners (under Retail, Discount and Wholesale segments) to maximize revenue/profit potential
Utilize various prospecting resources to solicit and secure business on behalf of collection in identified markets
Manage a portfolio of travel partners across the travel industry and group segments, ensuring no conflict with WSO efforts
Create and execute account plans with defined goals for assigned market territory
Use company wide programs, sales developments, prospecting projects, WSO customer events and reporting for business development
Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue and direct sales goals including sales calls, prospecting calls and entertainment as outlined
Generate potential P2P leads on behalf of sister properties and the company. Allocate time and resources as appropriate for account potential. Schedule activities effectively and meet deadlines
Handle sales calls and trips in a cost and time-efficient manner and within compliance of established budgets
Track and focus on conversion to ensure hotel revenue objectives are impacted and achieved
Establish and maintain strong sales system hygiene including account creation, account traces, contact information, client email lists, bookings, etc. in accordance with Four Seasons standards
Understand and maximize the utilization of all automated sales and reservations systems (Opera) involved with corporate or travel industry business. Participate in sales meetings, pipeline meetings and leadership meetings as required
Produce monthly sales recaps of market achievement based upon marketing plan objectives
Requirements:
Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Strong selling and interpersonal skills
Creativity and attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and make decisions in a fast-paced client driven environment
Ability to attend travel-trade events as needed
Sales and Catering Computer Software, MS Word, Excel
Ability to communicate (written and spoken) in Mandarin is a must
Experience with MICE and Leisure FIT segments preferred
