Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Sales Manager who can implement the marketing plan to maximize room’s occupancy and average rate from both the corporate and group segments markets in the local and in the designated overseas markets. This position will be based in Cairo.
Job Responsibility
Implement the marketing plan to maximize room’s occupancy and average rate from both the corporate and group segments markets in the local and in the designated overseas markets
Make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts
Follow up promptly with appropriate action to support telephone and personal sales calls
Solicit and service Travel Agent, Wholesale, Tour Operator, Private Reserve, Volume Account, Worldwide Corporate, Group and Transient accounts
Follow-up on all leads
Maintain a good relationship and generate group travel and individual leads for the WSO’s and other Four Seasons Hotels
Achieve weekly prospecting goal consistently
Create permanent files for all groups with strong room night potential
Negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying the client needs
Evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required meeting individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability
Qualify prospective leads and accounts as to profitability
Sell all hotels services
Maintain an effective plan of correspondence
Report on a monthly basis against plan/goal
Keep managers promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention, so prompt corrective action could be taken where appropriate
Requirements
Minimum 3-4 years of experience
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Good personal & professional references
Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Delphi, Internet and Opera
Well organized and detail oriented
Ability to work independently
Display initiative, perseverance and analytical skills
Based in Cairo
