Job Description:

Sales Manager for IKEA for Business division, responsible for organizing, initiating, and leading all IKEA for Business sales activities within assigned customer segments to optimize business opportunities in the market while upholding IKEA's professional and ethical standards.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and implement Sales Strategy for IKEA for Business across Phuket, Samui, Krabi, Phang Nga and southern Thailand
  • Identify and target potential customers including large residential developers, major accommodation providers, and prominent office clients
  • Initiate contact, lead negotiations, and secure sales with key accounts
  • Follow-up on all customer leads generated through customer touchpoints
  • Oversee execution of larger orders in cooperation with Fulfilment function
  • Manage communication and follow-up with customers
  • Incorporate company's competitive advantage within Sustainability into sales presentations

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in proactive outreach sales to professional customers
  • Proven track record in interior, home furnishings or related industries
  • Good conceptual and practical understanding of IKEA's identity and range
  • Good commercial understanding of offline and online marketing/sales
  • Strong negotiations and commercial skills
  • Experience in corporate sales and meeting larger customers/organizations at senior management levels
  • Understanding and commitment to company Culture and Values
  • Alignment with IKEA's Sustainability strategy
  • Self-reliant with ability to work as part of a team and independently
  • Fluent in English and Thai
  • Possesses own car and valid driver's license

Nice to have:

  • Proficiency in another Asian language
  • Positive personality with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong commercially creativity
  • Good sense of humour
