RTM Business Group is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to lead and develop a B2B conference sales team, driving revenue growth while managing a small group of sales representatives. This role combines hands-on selling with coaching, set in a collaborative and energetic environment across various industries.
Job Responsibility:
Manage a personal book of business, exceed revenue targets
Mentor sales reps
Drive pipeline management and pricing strategy
Oversee event campaign execution
Support new event launches
Own and grow your personal book of business while consistently exceeding revenue targets
Directly manage and mentor 2–3 sales reps, providing coaching, deal support, and performance feedback
Drive disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and conversion across the team
Lead pricing strategy, negotiations, and complex deal execution
Reinforce a high-energy, collaborative, and results-driven sales culture
Ensure accurate, timely CRM data entry and reporting personally and across your team
Oversee event campaign execution in partnership with sales representatives to achieve revenue targets across existing and newly launched industries
Play an active role in new event launches and expansion into new industries
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in B2B events/conferences
2+ years of sales management experience, including leading and coaching a team
Proven experience managing sales teams in a remote environment
Ability to travel regularly to live events
Strong professional and interpersonal communication skills
Bachelor’s degree
Nice to have:
Experience using HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform
Familiarity with ZoomInfo or similar prospecting and data tools
Experience partnering with or working closely with Sales Operations
