Job Description:

We are looking for our new sales manager to join our UK team, in Filton. We are seeking a Sales Manager to strengthen the Airbus Protect team in the UK. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in cybersecurity, with a specific focus on Managed Security (SOC/MDR) services.

Job Responsibility:

  • Go to market strategy for the UK: Help define and implement the sales strategy for the UK market
  • Expand portfolio of external clients: identify, prospect and convert new business opportunities within the aeronautical, CNI and defence industries
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers (C-level, CIOs, CISOs)
  • Sales Cycle Management: Drive the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to contract negotiation and closing
  • Market Analysis: Conduct continuous competitive and technological intelligence assessments to identify new trends, emerging threats, and market opportunities
  • Reporting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide reliable revenue forecasts to management using our CRM (SalesForce)
  • Internal Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and Business Units’ teams to ensure strategic alignment and customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Business school or university degree in Management or IT-related topics
  • At least 5 years sales experience in the cybersecurity domain, preferably incorporating Managed Security (SOC/MDR) Services
  • Good network within the cybersecurity industry either in CNI, Defence or aeronautical industries
  • Good knowledge and/or experience with: Development of key accounts
  • Complex Sales Cycles
  • Good IT knowledge and proven experience of exploiting Artificial Intelligence tools
  • Experience of working with international teams
  • Awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity
  • Security clearance or eligibility for a clearance issued by recognized authorities (UK vetting checks may apply)
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Autonomous, curious, proactive and rigorous, with great attention to detail
  • Consultative approach to architecting solutions to prospective customer problems
  • Ability to adapt to different situations whilst maintaining a very structured and organised approach
  • Team player, keen to share knowledge and work collaboratively
  • Fluent in English (verbal and written)
