Job Description

As part of our client's further expansion of the resin activities, we are looking for a Sales Manager Resins with strong market knowledge and a relevant network. You will be responsible for achieving commercial objectives. You act as the point of contact for commercial and intercompany opportunities. You report to the Director of Sales & Marketing and work closely with R&D, the Application Engineer, and the Project Manager Resins.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and execute the sales strategy for resins
  • Actively build and manage the customer portfolio
  • Contribute to the setup and optimization of the product portfolio
  • Report commercial results
  • Support and coach other sales colleagues based on your market and product expertise
  • Serve as the main commercial contact for intercompany resin opportunities and translate opportunities into clear business cases (go / no?go decisions)
  • Build and manage a distributor network
  • Serve as the commercial contact for intercompany opportunities
  • Ensure strict follow?up of quotations, negotiations, and contracts
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to support strategic decisions

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or equivalent experience in developing technical expertise
  • At least 5 years of B2B experience in resin sales
  • Strong commercial insight combined with technical understanding
  • Excellent communication and persuasive skills
  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented
  • A team player who collaborates easily with technical profiles
  • Excellent command of English

Nice to have

Knowledge of other languages (French, German)
