Job Description

The Sales Manager Nordics & Eastern Europe is responsible for achieving sales and profitability targets across the Nordic and Eastern European markets. The role ensures a high level of customer service to distributors, dealers, and OEM partners, while actively developing market share through new customer acquisition and strengthening existing relationships. The Sales Manager plays a key role in implementing the commercial strategy within these regions, contributing to Lankhorst Taselaar’ s long-term growth in line with Brunswick’s strategic priorities. The role will be based in Heerenveen, with moderate travel across the regions.

Job Responsibility

  • Contributes to the commercial strategy and regional sales plan for the Nordics & Eastern Europe
  • Develops and executes the annual sales budget for the Nordics & EE region
  • Monitors monthly sales performance, identifies deviations, and initiates corrective actions
  • Develops appropriate control, performance measures and generates reports
  • Directs the annual planning, expense and budgeting processes for the sales of the export markets
  • Leads and manages Nordics & EE account managers and/or agents
  • Manages key customer accounts and distributors
  • Identifies and develops new business opportunities
  • Gathers and maintains competitive product pricing information
  • Approves proposed deviations from the set prices and discounts
  • Supports local sales representatives, agents, and internal customer service teams
  • Collects, analyzes, and maintains competitive market data and pricing intelligence
  • Provides monthly and quarterly sales performance reports
  • Builds a culture of accountability and performance excellence
  • Ensures compliance with company policies, quality standards, ethical guidelines, and health, safety & environmental (HSE) practices
  • Strengthens collaboration with Brunswick Marine Europe (BME) and other Brunswick Business Groups (BBG)

Requirements

  • Bachelor or master’s degree with business or marketing orientation, or relevant experience in a similar role
  • 5-year experience in sales management
  • Experience with B2B sales of technical consumer goods
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office and excellent on MS Excel
  • English language (both written & verbal)
  • Good coordination skills
  • Good numerical aptitude
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and communication skills
  • Analytical and result-oriented
  • Open to travel/business trips
  • Out of the box thinking
  • Good organizational skills
