Responsible for identifying capital sales equipment business opportunities within the edible oil, industrial food and wastewater treatment industry within Indonesia. The position emphasizes building strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that highlight the unique value of Alfa Laval products equipment of heat exchanger, industrial flow and centrifuge decanter.
Job Responsibility:
Execute established sales processes and guidelines to effectively promote and sell Alfa Laval capital equipment – water treatment equipment / heat exchangers / industrial flow products
Analyze and understand market insights and the customers buying behavior and make sales plans according to the business division strategy and targets
Identify, manage, and nurture leads from both the market and existing customers, converting them into tangible business opportunities to maintain a robust sales pipeline
Actively engage with the market through regular customer visits, meetings, and interactions, focusing on understanding customer needs and demonstrating the unique value of Alfa Laval’s solutions
Runs the operation by managing the customer grid and proactive planning in our tools
Develop value quotes reflecting the customer needs stressing the unique selling points and follow up
Use the CRM tool and other tools in a consistent and qualitative way, to support the sales process and take decisions
Work proactively and systematically to optimize sales efficiency and achieve business targets
Requirements:
Engineering degree or equivalent technical background required
Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Minimum 5 years of experience in capital equipment sales for industrial machinery, with a strong background in the Industrial Food sector and water treatment projects
In-depth understanding of the Industrial Food market and water treatment industry in Indonesia
Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within Indonesia to visit customers
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
