Our partner is a leading manufacturer of industrial coding and marking equipment, specializing in Laser Coding and Thermal Transfer Overprinting (TTO) solutions. As part of their global strategy, they are establishing our subsidiary in Hungary to better serve the European market. They are looking for a founding member of our team – a driven and entrepreneurial Sales Manager to lead their market entry and growth in the CEE region. As a Sales Manager, you will be the driver of our business in Hungary and neighboring markets. You will own the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to closing deals and managing key accounts. You will work as the core of our 'Iron Triangle' sales model, closely collaborating with our Solution Representative (SR) and Fulfillment Representative (FR) teams based at our global headquarters to deliver winning solutions to our customers.
Job Responsibility:
Independently drive new customer acquisition and sales growth across Hungary and the CEE region
Meet and exceed annual sales targets (contract value, revenue collection)
Focus on key industries: Food & Beverage, Pharmaceuticals, Electronics, and Building Materials
Identify, recruit, and manage local distributors and system integrators
Build a healthy channel ecosystem and support partner growth
Lead the entire sales process from lead generation to project closing, including needs analysis, solution presentation, commercial negotiation, contracting, and collection
Develop and execute penetration plans for strategic customers
Act as the project owner, proactively coordinate with our HQ-based SR (Solution Expert) and FR (Technical Support/Project Delivery) teams
Ensure we provide complete, high-quality solutions and achieve high customer satisfaction
Gather and report on local market dynamics, competitor activities, and industry application trends
Provide valuable input to our global product and marketing strategies
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or above
Majors in Mechanical Engineering, Automation, Marketing, or related fields are preferred
3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience in industrial equipment, automation, or related technical fields
Experience in opening new markets or developing key accounts is a strong plus
Basic understanding of production line processes in F&B, Pharma, or Electronics industries, or a strong ability to quickly learn technical solutions
Fluent in both English and Hungarian, capable of using them as working languages for business negotiations and daily communication
