Supporting Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB), our business is made up of almost 10,000 people in more than 60 countries and territories and is uniquely positioned to help clients make and receive payments, across borders and regulations, in multiple currencies. Our expertise in this area has been recognized by the industry’s most prominent publications as the best global Cash Manager for corporate and financial institutions in consecutive years. We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a GPS Sales Manager.
Job Responsibility:
Work in close partnership with CIB Coverage and the wider GPS sales teams to identify and develop business opportunities, jointly formulate client engagement strategy to deepen the HSBC cash management wallet share with Dutch Corporate clients and the subsidiaries of our International / Multinational clients
Adopt a needs-based advisory approach to understand customer requirements and provide appropriate cash management solutions that meet those requirements
Proactively collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to develop a deal pipeline that is coordinated with CIB and prioritised according to opportunity and value to HSBC
Work closely with the GPS Implementation, Integration and Client Service teams to ensure smooth transition of client mandates into realised revenues, as well as to provide ongoing coverage in response to clients’ evolving challenges and requirements
Advise relationship management teams on updates of market trends, competitor landscape, regulatory changes etc. to help anticipate and respond to emerging customer needs and opportunities
Requirements:
A solid experience in a corporate banking environment
Extensive knowledge of Treasury, Liquidity and Cash Management products – a Certificate in International Cash Management would be advantageous
The ability to operate on a cross regional and cross functional basis
Experience in managing multiple countries and complex deals across regions
Well-developed communication, presentation, interpersonal, and influencing skills
A strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
