We are currently looking for a Sales Manager for a global FMCG powerhouse recognized for its iconic household brands in the coffee, biscuit, and confectionery categories. This expansion role is based in the Central region, and is pivotal in leading a growing sales team to execute aggressive market penetration strategies for both established and newly launched product lines. Reporting to: National Sales Manager Location: Klang Valley Team size: 6 direct reports Join a high-growth, passionate team currently expanding its sales force nationwide, offering a dynamic environment where you can take full ownership of regional distributor performance and field execution.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and mentor a team of 6 salesmen in the Central region to achieve sales targets and ensure flawless execution across Modern Trade (MT) and General Trade (GT) channels
  • Manage and strengthen strategic partnerships with long-term distributors, serving as the firm primary contact to solve operational problems and drive coverage growth
  • Spend most of your time on the field with the sales team to monitor productivity, ensure stock availability, and implement in-store merchandising standards
  • Execute regional business plans developed by the Key Account team, translating high-level strategy into actionable results at the outlet level
  • Oversee the successful rollout of new and diverse product categories, including instant pasta, RTD beverages, and premium biscuits, within the assigned territory
  • Conduct monthly operational meetings, delivering data-driven reports and presentations on regional performance, market share trends, and competitor intelligence

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of FMCG sales experience, with a proven track record of managing distributors and field-based sales teams
  • General Trade (GT) and distributor management experience is essential, with experience in Modern Trade (MT) operations and execution
  • Detail-oriented and strategic thinker with strong data analysis, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly active and field-oriented mindset
  • you are a leader who thrives on-ground rather than in an office setting and possesses the firmness to manage distributor relationships
