As the Commercial Sales Manager for the APAC region, you will lead a high-performing team responsible for driving revenue, expanding market share, and strengthening Fivetran’s presence across the Commercial segment. You’ll manage pipeline development, coach account executives, refine sales processes, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve ambitious growth goals. This role is ideal for a data-driven, proactive sales leader who excels in a fast-growing, highly collaborative environment.
Job Responsibility:
Lead, develop, and motivate a team of commercial account executives across APAC
Drive attainment of regional revenue, pipeline, and productivity goals
Forecast accurately and manage performance against KPIs
Develop territory strategies to maximize market penetration and customer value
Support AEs in complex deal cycles, providing coaching and deal strategy guidance
Collaborate with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing on go-to-market motions
Analyze pipeline trends and implement improvement strategies
Optimize sales processes to ensure operational excellence
Represent the region in global sales planning and leadership discussions
Recruit, onboard, and ramp high-performing commercial sales talent
Build strong relationships with customers and partners to accelerate value realization
Identify new market opportunities and competitive trends within APAC
Guide teams in delivering consultative, value-based selling conversations
Partner with ecosystem stakeholders to expand partner-sourced pipeline
Ensure customer feedback informs product and GTM improvements
Serve as a strategic point of escalation for high-value commercial accounts
Support the execution of regional marketing campaigns and events
Champion Fivetran’s value proposition at customer meetings and industry engagements
Drive adoption and expansion motions in existing accounts
Promote a culture of customer obsession and long-term success
Requirements:
Demonstrated experience managing and inspiring high-performing sales teams
Ability to coach team members through complex deals and sales cycles
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Marketing, CS, Product, and Partners
Ability to foster accountability, ownership, and a growth mindset
Excellent communication and executive-level presentation skills
Track record of scaling teams and improving sales processes
Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
Proven success meeting or exceeding revenue targets in SaaS or data-infrastructure sales
Strong understanding of MEDDIC/MEDDPICC or similar qualification frameworks
Experience managing multi-region or multi-market sales territories
Deep familiarity with pipeline management and forecasting best practices
Ability to analyze data to drive performance and strategic decisions
Strong understanding of the modern data stack and value-based selling
Commercial mindset with the ability to balance short-term wins and long-term strategy
Nice to have:
Experience selling data or analytics solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, dbt)
Knowledge of partner ecosystems within APAC (GSIs, cloud providers, VARs)
Fluency in an additional APAC language
Prior experience in a startup or high-growth SaaS environment
Demonstrated success launching new regions, products, or segments
