As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving new business growth, as well as the growth and value creation of existing customers. You will be responsible for contributing to the commercial aspects of identifying, quoting, and winning new business while expanding the scope of opportunities within the customer portfolio. You will also contribute to critical sales elements—including, but not limited to, account strategy, pricing management, managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and the sales cycle.

Acquisition of new projects
Lead price negotiations and price agreements
Establish good customer and internal relationship with all involved departments
Create and cultivate strategic relationships with customers
Support the Business Planning and manage this in the SPS
Execute Market analysis and develop sales strategies
Review/understand/control commercial activities for all projects
Maximize the profit for Aptiv by getting the best price and control/check the promised internal cost out of the original investment release
Lead the Sales team and organize efficiently to reach targets
Maintain all sales practices documents according to audit standards
Comply with the internal controls and operate within Enterprise Operating System and DBS framework
Lead RFQ phases and assure profitable quotations in time to expand EDS Business
Support and cooperate with the whole customer cross-functional team
Prepare and lead the customer strategy meetings
Lead the activities to achieve the Sales targets for the customers
Achieve Account growth objectives
Requirements:
Degree in economics or industrial engineering
Strong financial background
Automotive experience preferred
Strong English language skills – spoken and written
Very good German language skills - written and spoken
Clear verbal communication and negotiation skills
Ability to interpret technical drawings
Strong teamwork approach
Flexible and proven ability to work under pressure
Good execution capability
Effective presentation skills
