Job Responsibility:
Lead the execution of our brand strategies and priorities through a network of third-party distributors across the African continent
Focus on strengthening relationships with current distributors while identifying new distribution and business opportunities
Develop strategic guidelines tailored to each distributor type, covering P&L management and sell-out performance
Define distributor strategies and actions aligned with their capabilities and Coty’s brand priorities, conduct thorough analyses, and establish best practices to achieve financial objectives
As the Sales Manager ADM you will be responsible for the net revenue of your region, as well as other aspects of the P&L of your region
Joint Business Plan creation: Leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of distributor Sales, Distribution, and Trade Plans, ensuring consistent application of criteria across all actions and analyzing the ROI for each initiative
Distributor KPIs and P&L Management: Define and analyse distributor performance metrics and P&L. Drive Coty’s financial objectives through Strategic Revenue Management activities
Budget Oversight: Develop annual sales and A&P (Advertising & Promotion) plans. Monitor and control A&P spending to ensure alignment with Coty brand objectives. Collaborate with distributors to decide investment priorities across mechanics, channels, and brands
Perfect Store Execution: Partner with distributor FSF teams to provide clear visibility on in-store priorities and ensure execution at the point of sale
Demand Planning Coordination: Act as the key contact for Demand Planning to guarantee product availability in distributor warehouses. Own the building block meeting within the S&OP process
Distributor and Customer Relationships: Build strong relationships with distributors and establish direct connections with key customers to identify current and future opportunities that drive sales growth
Requirements:
Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience in Sales (Beauty, Cosmetics, Pharma or FMCG)
Knowledge of the African market and understanding lifestyle category and market segmentation
Experience in the rest of Africa is advantageous
You will require a valid passport for international travel within ADM
Strong business and financial acumen and able to influence P&L to reach financial KPI’s, results orientated
Analytical skills and attention to detail (drive sell-in and sell-out)
Strategic approach and thinking, creative problem solver

Project, time and change management skills with diverse audiences and environments
Strong prioritising, planning. organisational skills and can work with ambiguity

Strong negotiation skills for mutual benefit
Proficiency in MS Office, (intermediate to advanced)
