This is a senior, pivotal role dedicated to accelerating sales growth and cultivating strategic partnerships across the entire Malaysian wood sector, from North to South. The manager will be instrumental in achieving sales targets, expanding our market presence, and driving the success of our high-value machinery solutions to furniture makers and construction companies.
Job Responsibility:
Drive and achieve sales targets for turnover and profitability as defined in the annual budget
Lead and provide coaching to the regional sales network and distribution channels
Develop and execute the annual work plan, including customer and distributor visitation schedules
Identify new business opportunities and market development potential across the assigned region
Formulate and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies based on market potential analysis
Manage and expand the existing distribution network to ensure maximum market share growth
Promote the corporation's high-value machinery and provide strategic advice for goal achievement
Requirements:
Minimum of five years of progressive experience in sales and marketing
Demonstrated experience within the machinery and broader industrial sectors
Proven track record in the wood machineries market is a distinct advantage
Strong capability to establish and maintain a professional distribution network and final customer relationships
Proficiency in using Salesforce or similar CRM tools is mandatory
Ability to work independently and remotely while managing a regional territory
