Job Description

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens, we are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager – GCC to join our Sales & Marketing team on a maternity leave cover basis. This role will focus on maximizing revenue across Rooms, F&B, and Conference & Catering business from a defined GCC account base, representing the hotel to high-profile clients and key regional partners. You will manage key accounts within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) markets, proactively prospect for new business, and ensure a seamless sales process from initial inquiry to execution. Your contribution will be essential in maintaining the hotel’s reputation as a premier luxury destination while achieving revenue targets during this temporary assignment.

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a predetermined number of key accounts and prospects from GCC markets to ensure maximum yield in line with budgetary objectives
  • Maintain up-to-date activity, rate information, and action plans for each account, ensuring timely follow-up
  • Prospect and convert new accounts into producing business
  • Handle all sales enquiries related to Groups, Catering, and Conferences, ensuring proper handover and follow-up with the relevant departments
  • Represent the hotel at trade fairs, client meetings, and industry events, promoting the Four Seasons brand and luxury image
  • Participate in the annual Marketing Planning process, including competitor analysis and budget alignment
  • Communicate client requirements accurately to internal teams to ensure superior guest service
  • Organize and execute Sales Blitz and other sales activities as required
  • Utilize hotel systems (DELHPI, OPERA, BIRCHSTREET, MARKET VISION) according to Four Seasons standards
  • Support the Director of Sales in achieving segment and property revenue goals while ensuring a high level of service and client satisfaction

Requirements

  • Proven experience in luxury hotel sales, with a strong focus on GCC markets
  • Solid track record in managing key accounts and achieving revenue targets
  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with sales systems (DELHPI, OPERA, BIRCHSTREET, MARKET VISION) or similar CRM tools
  • Fluency in English

  • Flexibility to adapt to a temporary role and contribute effectively to the team
