Job Description:

Credit Controller/Sales Ledger Clerk required to work in Meriden/Coventry (CV5) on a hybrid basis. You will be able to work 2 days at home and 3 days in the office, This is a temporary to permanent opportunity. This is a lovely opportunity to work within a small team and really add your stamp onto the credit control side and have sole responsibility of the end to end process.

Job Responsibility:

  • Manage the credit and collections process
  • Ensure outstanding debts are collected in a timely manner
  • Minimize the risk of bad debts
  • Maintain accurate records of customer accounts
  • Assess creditworthiness of new and existing customers
  • Implement strategies to optimize cash flow and reduce debtor days
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients to resolve disputes or discrepancies

Requirements:

  • Credit control experience
  • Proven track record of successfully managing credit and collections processes in a commercial environment
  • Experience in conducting credit assessments, setting credit limits, and managing aged debtors
  • Must be a proactive individual who wants to challenge the status quo
