Job Description:

The Sales Lead SADC is responsible for developing and executing Baxter Kidney Care (Vantive) sales and growth strategies in the SADC and Sub-Saharan Africa regions. The role involves leading sales and marketing teams, managing distributor relationships, driving market expansion, and ensuring compliance with market goals. Candidates must embody Baxter's values, maintain stakeholder relationships, and oversee large-scale projects within an evolving healthcare landscape.

Job Responsibility:

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive profitable growth for Baxter Kidney Care (Vantive)’s product portfolio
  • Manage distributor relationships to ensure high-performance outcomes
  • Lead regional organization to meet P&L objectives
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand product offerings in SADC and SSA
  • Oversee large-scale projects, including distributor transitions
  • Engage with key stakeholders to drive product acceptance across healthcare systems
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and ethical practices

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 15-20 years of experience in sales and marketing within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, focusing on the SADC and SSA regions
  • Proven track record of managing distributor relationships and leading regional projects
  • Strong leadership skills to mentor and inspire teams
  • Deep understanding of market trends, pricing structures, and healthcare dynamics in SADC & SSA regions
  • Familiarity with regional healthcare regulations, pricing, and reimbursement frameworks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel extensively in the region
  • Fluency in English.
