Job Description:

Our client is a Singapore-based interior design and renovation studio delivering end-to-end residential projects - from concept development to execution. The company focuses on personalised interiors, strong client experience, and close collaboration between sales, design, and operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery and long-term client satisfaction. We are looking for a hands-on Sales Lead / Sales Manager to drive client consultations and close residential renovation projects. This is a sales-first role with the opportunity to take on coaching / team-lead responsibilities as the team grows. You will work closely with the Director and design/operations teams to ensure accurate scoping, pricing, and smooth onboarding.

Job Responsibility:

  • Handle the full sales cycle: lead qualification, consultations, quotation review, and closing
  • Understand client requirements, budgets, design preferences, and timelines
  • Build trust with clients and maintain a high standard of client experience
  • Support improvements to consultation flow, scripts, and follow-up approach (in line with the Director’s direction)
  • Prepare and/or review quotations to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Understand renovation cost components (materials, carpentry, electrical/plumbing, etc.) and apply them to pricing
  • Ensure pricing aligns with internal margin guidelines
  • Support package structuring and upselling to increase project value while maintaining healthy margins
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and disciplined pipeline tracking
  • Provide weekly updates on pipeline status and expected closures
  • Ensure clean handovers to design/operations with complete project information
  • Work closely with designers to confirm scope feasibility and client expectations
  • Coordinate with suppliers/contractors when needed to validate pricing or technical inputs
  • Share client insights with marketing to improve lead quality and conversion
  • Mentor junior sales consultants / design consultants on consultations, follow-ups, and quotation basics
  • Support onboarding and training on sales process and product knowledge
  • Maintain consistent sales standards and client communication quality

Requirements:

  • 3–7 years of sales / client-facing experience
  • interior design, renovation, property, or related industries strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to close mid- to high-value deals
  • Comfortable with quotations, pricing, and numbers
  • strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and client management skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple leads simultaneously
  • Experience using CRM tools and standard productivity software
  • Coaching/mentoring experience is a plus (formal “people management” not required)

Nice to have:

  • Background as a senior sales consultant or hands-on team lead in renovation / interior design
  • Understanding of renovation materials, costing, and basic technical concepts
  • Ability to read basic floor plans (trainable)
  • Mandarin / Chinese language skills are a strong advantage due to the client base
