Working within the sports industry they represent sporting clubs across the UK including football, rugby, cricket, and other specialist teams. Job Responsibility:
Research and identify potential (clients) brands that are appropriate to campaign opportunities using events, networks, LinkedIn, industry databases, and targeted searches
Execute high-volume outbound outreach: cold calls, personalised LinkedIn messages, and email campaigns to marketing directors and decision-makers
Qualify leads and book calls/meetings for the sales team
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline, tracking interactions
Meet weekly and monthly targets for qualified leads and appointments booked
Follow up and nurture early-stage prospects with relevant insights and developments
Upsell, cross sell and reengage brands where the mutual value is appropriate
Maintain a client CRM for constant contact
Stay on top of UK and global sports & advertising trends to spot new opportunities
Requirements:
Charismatic, natural storyteller with passion in abundance
Proven experience in outbound lead generation, sales development, cold calling, or telesales
Culturally aware with a strong understanding of social media and how it contributes to driving fan engagement
Naturally creative with excellent verbal and written communication, confident on the phone and crafting personalised messages
Profound interest in sales techniques and process, continuously refining and improving your own style
Strong proficiency with LinkedIn (Sales Navigator ideal), CRM systems, and email outreach tools
Self-motivated, resilient, and target-driven, you thrive on hitting numbers and learn from every “no”
Genuine passion for sport and understanding of the UK sports landscape
Experience or interest in advertising, sponsorship, or digital marketing
