The Sales Intern position provides exposure and training to all aspects of a commercial insurance operation, as well as exposure and interaction with various business partners both internally and externally.
Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with assigned Mentor, assisting and shadowing Production Brokers, Underwriters, Analysts, and Service members
Attend weekly Young Producer meetings
Meet additional commitments as outlined in the “Internship Expectations and Guidelines.”
Use initiative and business acumen to assist with creating quote proposals, designing marketing materials, spreadsheet analysis, follow-up sales calls, PowerPoint presentations, walking through the full sales cycle with a current customer including in-person presentation
Perform thorough marketing research, support Production/Service teammates, complete required training and development tasks, and execute administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Current enrollment in a college or university degree granting program and will be enrolled in the upcoming fall semester
Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
