We are seeking a bold, business‑minded Sales Finance Manager to join the pladis Americas finance team and help shape the future of our chocolate portfolio. This is a high‑impact role at the heart of our commercial engine—one that will define a 1–3 year roadmap to transform our brands into a more sustainable, profitable, and cash‑generating business. You will build and elevate the Sales Finance discipline across the organization, establishing clear operating procedures, strengthening planning, and forecasting rigor, and driving smarter budgeting and spending decisions. As the owner of SKU, customer, and channel profitability analytics, you will surface the insights that matter—highlighting risks, unlocking opportunities, and guiding strategic trade‑offs that fuel both brand and customer growth. Reporting to the Finance Director and partnering closely with Sales and Marketing leadership, you will be a key voice in steering our commercial strategy and ensuring our iconic treats win in the market and in the P&L.
Job Responsibility:
Shape a 1–3 year commercial finance roadmap that aligns brand, customer, and channel strategies with long‑term profitability and cash‑generation goals
Translate strategic priorities into clear financial implications and action plans for Sales and Marketing leadership
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasting cycles with disciplined processes, accurate assumptions, and transparent variance explanations
Build and maintain robust forecasting models that integrate volume, pricing, trade spend and mix dynamics
Proactively identify financial risks and opportunities across customers, channels, and SKUs, quantifying impacts and recommending mitigation or unlock plans
Maintain a rolling view of commercial performance drivers to support agile decision‑making
Implement and evolve standard operating procedures for trade spend planning, tracking, and post‑event analysis
Partner with Sales to ensure investments are aligned with strategy and deliver measurable returns
Own and continuously refine profitability analytics across the portfolio, highlighting margin drivers, mix shifts, and structural cost considerations
Provide clear insights that guide assortment decisions, customer negotiations, and channel prioritization
Prepare scenario analyses that illuminate trade‑offs and support strategic choices
Lead the annual operating plan for Sales, ensuring alignment with corporate targets and brand strategies
Strengthen financial controls across spend management, accruals, and reporting accuracy
Deliver timely, insightful reporting packages that elevate key trends, risks, and opportunities for senior leadership
Influence stakeholders through compelling storytelling grounded in data and business acumen
Translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights
Drive process improvements across Sales Finance, enhancing efficiency, accuracy, and analytical depth
Champion tools, systems, and best practices that elevate the commercial finance discipline.
Requirements:
8+ years of progressive experience in CPG or Food Industry
Direct experience in Sales Finance
B.A./B.S. in Finance or Accounting is required
Ability to consolidate the findings from big data analyses into an efficient and effective narrative for business partners and leadership to support decision making
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to stand alone and influence both up and down within and outside the organization
Build from scratch mentality with the ability to institute new standardized processes and establish a consistent, disciplined approach to how we operate
A drive, commitment and sense of urgency that inspires others to be their best and achieve results
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, D365, SAP
Finance and Accounting qualifications. Demonstrated success in developing business cases (P&L, Cash, ROI) for innovation and for driving decisions to improve brand growth and profitability.

MBA or CPA
