We are looking for a Car Sales Executive to join our team at Vertu Vauxhall Sunderland and are welcoming applications from retail, hospitality, or other customer-facing backgrounds. You don’t need previous automotive experience — we’ll provide full training and a structured onboarding programme to give you everything you need to succeed and build a long-term, high-earning career in car sales. This role offers a competitive basic salary of £27,000 with uncapped commission, delivering realistic on-target earnings of £45,000, with top performers earning £60,000+.
Job Responsibility:
Welcoming customers and delivering a premium experience throughout the buying journey
Understanding customer needs and matching them with the right vehicle and finance options
Arranging and conducting test drives
Building long-term relationships that create loyal, repeat customers
Working towards achievable targets with the support of an experienced management team
Requirements:
Experience in retail, hospitality, leisure, or customer-facing sales
Confident, motivated, and enjoy working with people
Thrive in a target-driven environment and like being rewarded for success

Hold a full UK driving licence
