In short, this Business Development Executive appointment will see you identifying and onboarding new customers as well as developing existing business working with a key brand which is loved by many! The territory you will be responsible for spans the Midlands and we’re looking for someone who resides South Manchester/ Birmingham/ Leicester area. You could be working with a range of customers from petrol forecourts and independent wholesalers to cash & carry’s. You don’t have to have experience in FMCG to get started, as they will offer plenty of training and progression opportunities, however they’re looking for an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is hungry to grow and take on more responsibility who already is used to managing their own territory sales. If you already have experience in FMCG – this is a huge bonus. This is a hardworking, fun environment with plenty of autonomy.
Job Responsibility:
Business development with ‘Wholesale/ Convenience’ customers driving sales growth
Work closely with customers to improve relationships and enhance their offering
Working with retailers and wholesalers on sampling campaigns
Support the National Account Controller with various tasks, from launching NPD to loading promotions and Joint Business Plans
Requirements:
6 months + demonstrable experience in territory sales management
FMCG experience is advantageous
An organised individual, capable of prioritising and balancing your workload
Display strong communication skills with confidence
A proactive self-starter who takes ownership of results
A commercial mindset with a strong attention to detail
An ambitious individual with the drive to progress and develop
