We’re looking for a Sales Executive to drive revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across the region. This role is instrumental in expanding Paymentology’s market presence and customer base, owning the full sales cycle from prospecting through to contract signing. Job Responsibility:
Maintain visibility of new business relationships and emerging market opportunities
Identify, approach, and develop new clients for Paymentology’s products and services
Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue high-potential business prospects
Work closely with the Regional Director to define and target key markets and strategic prospects
Build and maintain a robust annual sales pipeline with clearly defined targets and milestones
Accurately track, manage, and report on pipeline activity and sales forecasts on an ongoing basis
Diagnose prospect needs and recommend tailored product and service solutions that align with their business objectives
Own the entire sales process from initial engagement through negotiation and contract signature
Nurture and manage regional pipeline opportunities to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets
Lead complex commercial negotiations with prospective clients
Collaborate closely with legal counsel and finance teams to structure and finalise commercial agreements
Take full responsibility for sales administration tasks, including securing client contract signatures
Execute effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
Drive the growth of Paymentology’s customer base and strengthen its regional market presence
Requirements:
5–7 years of Business Development experience within the fintech or payments industry
Strong knowledge of the cards and payments industry, with specific expertise in the issuing landscape
High attention to detail with the ability to understand the complexities of the payments market and the economics that drive the business
Excellent time management and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple prospects across different time zones
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to define priorities and deliver against ambitious goals
Proven ability to qualify leads and identify key decision-makers within client organisations
Strong capability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders, both internally and externally
Excellent commercial acumen, including financial modelling and deal structuring skills
Resilience and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining focus on successful outcomes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
