Role Summary Reporting to the Sales Manager, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of B2B accounts across eastern Melbourne while proactively winning new business. This is a field-based, autonomous role for someone who thrives on the road and isn’t afraid of a longer sales cycle.
Job Responsibility
Manage a structured call cycle across an existing account portfolio
Maximise profitability through new product introductions and rate reviews
Develop and protect relationships with major accounts to minimise churn
Proactively target and win new business in line with the sales strategy
Maintain and progress a new customer pipeline
Manage sales and financial reporting across your territory
Spend the majority of your week on the road, in front of customers
Maintain accurate records via the CRM system
Requirements
Self-motivated, achievement-driven approach to sales
Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close complex deals
Confident communicator and presenter
Commercial understanding of sales reporting, revenue and P&L
Comfortable managing a longer, relationship-based sales cycle
Able to work autonomously with minimal supervision
Strong MS Office proficiency
Current driver’s licence essential
On-road account management or business development experience highly regarded
Open to candidates from any industry background, B2B sales experience preferred
