This role is responsible for generating and closing group business, developing new corporate accounts, and delivering exceptional event experiences from initial contact through post-event follow-up. You will play a key role in maximizing revenue opportunities while ensuring seamless coordination between sales, events, and operations.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively secure group and catering business (300+ peak rooms) to achieve revenue targets
Develop and contract new corporate accounts, driving transient room night and revenue goals
Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, understanding competitor positioning and trends
Use strong negotiation and creative selling techniques to close deals and maximize revenue
Collaborate with Area Sales and external channels to generate new business
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
Represent the hotel through sales calls, networking events, trade shows, and FAM trips
Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions
Prepare contracts, proposals, and all event documentation
Ensure smooth handover between Sales, Event Management, and Operations teams
Coordinate pre-event, on-site, and post-event phases to deliver seamless experiences
Identify up-selling opportunities and enhance events to exceed guest expectations
Contribute to sales and marketing plans aligned with revenue goals
Support forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes
Monitor booking patterns and optimize same-day selling strategies
Deliver exceptional service aligned with W brand standards
Ensure each client and guest experience is memorable, personalized, and impactful
Gather feedback and continuously seek ways to elevate the experience
Requirements:

Strong sales, negotiation, and communication skills

A proactive mindset with a focus on results and relationship-building
Experience in hotel sales or event management is preferred
Czech language knowledge required
2 Years Experience In The Event Management Or Related Professional Area Required
EU Nationality Or Work Permit For The Czech Republic Needed
