You will play a key role in driving revenue across Meetings & Events, Rooms, Groups, and Voyagers Restaurant & Bar, supporting the Sales & Reservations team in delivering commercial success while creating exceptional client experiences. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for proactively generating new business, converting enquiries, and maximising revenue opportunities across the hotel. This is a target-driven role where your energy, creativity, and commercial awareness will directly impact the hotel’s performance. You will build strong relationships with clients, identify new opportunities, and ensure every enquiry is handled professionally from initial contact through to confirmation and delivery.
Job Responsibility:
Drive revenue across multiple streams including meetings & events, room bookings, restaurant reservations, and group business
Proactively generate new business through research, networking, telesales, and client engagement
Manage and convert enquiries efficiently, ensuring a seamless customer journey from enquiry to booking
Conduct site visits, client meetings, and attend networking events to promote the hotel
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to encourage repeat business
Upsell products and services including room upgrades, private dining, and event enhancements
Support the delivery of seasonal and festive packages, including Christmas and key calendar events
Work closely with the Director of Sales and Reservations team to support overall sales strategy
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify opportunities for growth
Maintain accurate sales records and contribute to reporting and performance tracking
Collaborate with operational teams to ensure smooth delivery of events and guest experiences
Requirements:
Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role, ideally within hospitality
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with a confident and professional approach
A proactive and target-driven mindset with a passion for achieving results
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Commercial awareness and an understanding of revenue generation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
