Under the guidance and supervision of the Director of Commercial and Director of Catering and Sales or any assigned Manager, Sales Executive is responsible for selling the hotel and providing a relationship-oriented atmosphere for the client, who would book an individual reservation into the hotel. To prospect and sell individual accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan. To ensure that quotas are met. To ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room.
Job Responsibility
Selling the hotel and providing a relationship-oriented atmosphere for the client, who would book an individual reservation into the hotel
To prospect and sell individual accounts on behalf of the hotel in accordance with the objectives established in the Marketing Plan
To ensure that quotas are met
To ensure that sales activities, top accounts and bookings are focused to yield maximum revenue per available room
The ability to aggressively pursue and evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required to meet individual goals and profitability
The ability to make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts
The ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying client needs
The ability to sell all hotel products and services
Maintain good business relationship with all producers
Maintain existing business and develop new accounts
Manage customer database list and ensure it updated constantly
The ability to maintain an effective plan of correspondence
The ability to follow-up on progress of booked business and key account performance
The ability to participate in sales meetings and report on a weekly basis against plan/goal
The ability to utilize property business data to assist in achieving personal and property goals and objectives
The ability to treat active selling, solicitation and business development as #1 job priority
The ability to write clear effective sales correspondence
The ability to develop and utilize proper selling skills
The ability to coordinate with other Department Heads to ensure quality of guest satisfaction
The ability to keep supervisors promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate
Requirements
Preferably in luxury hotel brand
Being calm and patient and be of service passion. Team player. Being fair and responsible. Be passion and love working
Requires knowledge or the ability to operate computer equipment including word processing and spreadsheet software
Logic, eye for details, approachable and willing to help
Has a working knowledge of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Chinese language
Has a positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
