The Sales Executive is responsible for managing sales activities for three Moxy hotels in the Southwest UK, particularly in Bristol, Plymouth, and Southampton. Tasks include lead generation, client relationship nurture, sales research, contract preparation, and coordination of commercial projects. The role also provides opportunities for professional growth through Marriott's training programmes and supports a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibility:
Evaluate, qualify, respond to sales leads, and arrange appointments for the Regional Sales Manager
Prepare and finalise contracts to close sales transactions
Join-in on Sales projects, executing activities that support the commercial direction of your hotels
Create sales presentations, injecting your personality and sales culture
Join sales calls to engage with prospective and current clients
Provide sales program/event coordination, reporting support, and/or general administrative support
Maintain a portfolio of telesales accounts and nurture client relationships
Research and identify new leads
Provide support for the Group reservations team, if needed
Use CRM (SFA Web) to manage leads and track performance
Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging and promotional efforts
Represent the hotels at local networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
Establish and maintain complete and up-to-date lead response information
Generate and organise sales reports using multiple data systems
Track and report on KPIs such as lead conversion rates, revenue contribution, and client engagement
Requirements:
Detailed and accurate in all you do especially taking care of data
Clear and confident in both written and verbal communication
Ability to work under own initiative
Positive, entrepreneurial, and open-minded approach to challenges
Creative and innovative in improving processes and driving results
Trusted by others through consistent authenticity and ethical standards
Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient at Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Strong organisational and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
High School diploma or equivalent required
Preferred minimum of 2 years’ experience in hotels either in Sales and Marketing, Group Reservations, Guest Services, or Front Desk
Experience in select-service or lifestyle hotel brands is a plus
Previous experience in a multi-property or cluster sales role is advantageous
