This is a new business “hunter” role within a well-established, global fintech firm delivering enterprise technology and consulting solutions to the alternative investment industry. You will be joining a well-established firm (1,000+ employees, 200+ institutional clients globally) who are now heavily investing in UK/European growth, hiring a number of commercially driven salespeople to win new logos across hedge funds, private equity firms, and asset managers.
Job Responsibility:
Owning full-cycle new business sales (no account management bias)
Building pipeline via outbound, events, and targeted account engagement
Developing relationships across hedge funds, PE firms, and asset managers
Running complex, consultative sales processes
Positioning multi-product solutions to solve operational/data challenges
Leveraging internal product specialists and pre-sales analysts
Managing opportunities through long, multi-stakeholder sales cycles
Staying close to market trends and identifying commercial opportunities
Requirements:
2–5 years’ experience in B2B software/solutions sales
Proven quota achievement in a new business role
Experience selling into the buy-side (hedge funds, PE, asset managers) strongly preferred
Background in selling solutions such as: Data / data platforms / analytics, OMS / PMS / trade lifecycle tech, Regulatory / reporting solutions, Treasury / reconciliation / operations tech, Managed services / outsourcing
Comfortable with enterprise sales motions (multi-stakeholder, long cycles)
Strong commercial instinct with a genuine hunter mentality
Able to engage credibly with both business and technical stakeholders
