The media Sales Executive will be responsible for driving revenue by partnering with advertisers and agencies to deliver effective, audience-driven advertising solutions. The role combines consultative selling, market insight, and relationship management to align advertiser goals with the company’s media platforms, data, and creative capabilities.
Job Responsibility:
Build and manage strong relationships with advertisers, agencies, and key decision-makers
Identify client objectives and design integrated media solutions that deliver measurable results
Prospect and grow new business while expanding existing accounts
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, analytics, ad ops, product) to execute campaigns flawlessly
Analyze performance and optimize future strategies based on insights and outcomes
Represent the brand as a trusted advisor and expert in the media landscape
Building a solid track record of developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts with a strategic mindset
Analytically approaches sales opportunities to identify and evaluate more complex, multi-product proposals
Effectively leads sales meetings, engaging clients and key decision makers with strategic sales tactics
Requirements:
3 + years of experience in advertising sales
Knowledge of company products and services, both current and in development for future release
Complete knowledge of how each group within the organization functions together to affect outcomes
Industry knowledge (i.e. Media), developing expertise in the media advertising industry and has existing client relationships
General understanding of advertiser industry business trends
historic, current and foreseeable future
General grasp of client’s advertising history, current budget and competitor intel
Individual contributor
Receives little instruction on routine work, general instructions on new assignments
May rely on manager to assist in securing high level contacts, introductions and meetings
CRM Software, Salesforce, etc
Experience with automation and/or AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.
