The primary purpose of this role is to build sales & new business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with events clients. You will be required to generate sales and engage all parts of the business to service enquiries, create menus with costing as well as ensuring after-sales feedback.

Requirements:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within the events hospitality industry is essential
Experience using Table Check, SevenRooms, Tripleseat or similar reservations system would be highly regarded
Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and budgets
In depth knowledge and understanding of function and events offerings, and ability to work with Executive/Head Chefs and Venue Managers regarding food and beverage offers
Well-developed planning and organisation skills
Exceptional communication
Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective professional relationships
High level of attention to detail
Strong stakeholder management skills
Studies in business or related discipline is advantageous
