Job Responsibility:

  • Build sales & new business by identifying and selling prospects and maintaining relationships with events clients
  • Generate sales and engage all parts of the business to service enquiries, create menus with costing as well as ensuring after-sales feedback

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the events hospitality industry is essential
  • Experience using Table Check, SevenRooms, Tripleseat or similar reservations system would be highly regarded
  • Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets and budgets
  • In depth knowledge and understanding of function and events offerings, and ability to work with Executive/Head Chefs and Venue Managers regarding food and beverage offers
  • Well-developed planning and organisation skills
  • Exceptional communication
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective professional relationships
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Studies in business or related discipline is advantageous
