We are looking for a dynamic Sales & Events Executive to join our team at Bankside Hotel. This role is primarily reactive, managing incoming enquiries and converting them into successful events, while also supporting proactive sales activity when required.
Job Responsibility:
Handle and convert event and residential group enquiries (corporate, social, MICE)
Build strong client relationships from enquiry through to event delivery
Conduct site visits and prepare tailored proposals and contracts
Coordinate event details via BEOs with internal departments to ensure seamless execution
Achieve sales targets, maximise conversion, and upsell hotel services
Support proactive sales initiatives during quieter periods
Maintain accurate records, reports, and CRM systems
Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, and site inspections to generate leads and close sales
Build strong relationships with key accounts, local businesses, and travel agents to secure repeat business
Maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects and follow up promptly on all leads
Attend industry networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to represent the hotel and develop market intelligence
Requirements:
Experience in hotel sales, events, or luxury hospitality
Strong organisation and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple enquiries in a fast-paced environment
A proactive, customer-focused team player with a professional approach
Previous experience in Delphi system is desired
