This client is a leading provider of energy solutions in Malaysia focus on the delivery of primary equipment and grid solutions. They are now looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Engineer to join their Grid Division.
Job Responsibility:
Proactively identify and connect with new business partners and maintain growth with established clients in the utility and EPC sectors
Attend site walkthroughs and meetings to assess conditions, interpret electrical drawings, and develop optimized, customized solutions
Lead the preparation of proposals, provide technical briefings, and manage RFQ interviews to increase winning opportunities
Stay updated on technology changes, competitor activity, and regional statutory requirements
Maintain rolling sales forecasts in internal systems and report on market successes and technical needs
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or an equivalent qualification
3–5 years of experience in the Grid will be preferable
Proven ability to deliver sales pitches, manage multiple deadlines, and work effectively under pressure
Ability to travel overseas for business trips as required
