The Sales Engineer, part of the Sales Engineering & System Analysis USMCA department, is responsible within E80 Group for developing and quoting solutions end-of-line applications or more generally for the handling of products both in production facilities and distribution centers. This role sits at the intersection between the commercial and technical-production functions within E80.
Job Responsibility:
Designing original, high-performance solutions with a high probability of success in the competitive market, in compliance with E80 standards
Collaborating with the commercial area in identifying the needs of the end customers
Designing the system based on the flow of goods and customer needs, defining the correct size and selecting the E80 products needed to create it
Quoting solutions and drafting the relative commercial offer
Documenting the planning decisions, calculations required to correctly size the proposed machines and the control philosophy adopted
Providing technical support to the Area Manager in submitting the offer to the customer
Requesting third-party commercial offers for integration in the project
evaluating and negotiating the supply in collaboration with the purchasing office
In the event of sale, collaboration with the E80 business division in order to create the necessary internal documentation for technical and production entities
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial or closely related field)
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in electrical-mechanical or software development
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
Proficiency with the following software packages: AutoCad 2004 or newer, Microsoft office
Ability to interpret engineering drawings
Customer orientation
Strong analytical and communication skills
