The Sales Engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers and partners to continue delivering innovative solutions for our customers and late-stage development projects. In this role, you will support the business development team by coordinating internal and external teams to drive projects from feasibility to construction while ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. You will work closely with engineering, operations, and R&D teams to ensure our customers achieve the value-oriented experience we strive to deliver. Job Responsibility:
Collaborate with the engineering team to drive projects from feasibility to start of construction while maintaining long term relationships with customer sites
Ensure customer specifications are communicated to the engineering team and appropriately accounted for in the design of the system
Collaborate with engineering, product management, and business development to calculate value propositions for customer projects
Communicate status updates to the customer to ensure understanding and maintain alignment on project goals
Working closely with the Sales Manager and other internal teams to manage the details of the Project Development (Front-End Loading) process between Via and current/potential customers.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience in a heavy industrial setting, preferably within a target vertical (pulp and paper, oil and gas refining, or chemical manufacturing) OR a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering or the sciences)
Communication with technical stakeholders (internal and external) is critical to success in this role
